Grimes Boulevard Phase II Page 2 of 2 DATE: 8/7/2007 CHANGE ORDER NO: 12 JUSTIFICATION: 1 In accordance with The City of Round Rock directive to improve drainage on the bridge deck, we are to core drill eight additional holes through the south bound concrete bridge deck as referenced in Aguirre & Fields letter dated dated July 31, 2007. In accordance with an additional directive received from The City of Round Rock on August 6, 2007, we are also core drilling four additional holes through the north bound concrete bridge deck. E., Director of Transportation Services In order to improve the drainage on the bridge decks crossing Brushy Creek on the Arterial Roadway of A. W. Grimes Boulevard during extraordinary flooding events, additional core holes will be drilled through the decks, both South bound, and North bound. Background Information: 17.55% The A.W. Grimes Boulevard Phase II project was awarded to RGM Constructors, L.P., by Council on July 14, 2005. Phase II constructs a six -lane section from US 79 to Lake Creek including curb and gutter, sidewalk, a raised median, drainage and utility improvements, a bridge over Brushy Creek and a crossing under the Union Pacific Railroad.
