For Planning Strategies 2025 Steering Committee
I. Vision and Purpose
The vision and purpose of the Planning Strategies 2025 Steering Committee
is to assure quality health and human services for Williamson County
residents.
II. Steering Committee Members
The Steering Committee includes Bluebonnet Trails Community Mental
Health Mental Retardation Center, Lifesteps, Williamson Council on Alcohol
and Drugs, Rural Capital Area Workforce Development Board, United Way
of Greater Williamson County, City of Leander, City of Taylor, City of Round
Rock, and Williamson County & Cities Health District.
III. Terms
• To select one of the key indicators as their main focus area.
• Identify models of quality community health and human services.
• In 2002-2003, identify and promote the process with stakeholders.
• Promote active participation of local stakeholders.
• Develop a schedule and format for public input.
• Develop a white paper of the results and ensure the focus is on issues most
critical to the respective communities of Round Rock, Leander, and
Taylor.
IV. Duration of Agreement
The agreement will commence on December 1, 2001, and shall remain in full
force and effect until August 31, 2003, or until the health and human services
components have been placed into the Comprehensive Plans of the cities of
Round Rock, Taylor, and Leander.
V. General Considerations
This Memorandum of Understanding is not a legally binding and/or financial
document and does not obligate or require the obligation of funds. The
Memorandum of Understanding shall be reviewed annually and updated to
meet the needs of Planning Strategies 2025 Steering Committee members.
Each agency member reserves the right to withdraw from this agreement with
a 30 days written notification of intention. Such notification must be signed by
the authorized individual from each Steering Committee member's
organization.

Steering Committee Agreement
I hereby agree to have representatives from our agency as members of the Planning
Strategies 2025 Steering Committee from this day forward until the health and human
services plans have been developed for the cities of Round Rock, Leander, and Taylor.
