That the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a municipal corporation situated in the Counties of
Travis and Williamson, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 Dollars
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by Rick D. Stone and Cynthia A. Stone, the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby ABANDON, RELEASE and
DISCHARGE a 3,697 square foot portion of a 10 foot Public Utility Easement located in part along the
South lot line of 3800 Forest Creek Drive, and appearing on that certain final plat recorded in Cabinet P,
Slide 53, of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, to -wit:
See Exhibit "A", describing a 3,697 square foot tract of land being a portion of Lot 7,
Block B, Forest Creek Section 7, a subdivision in the City of Round Rock, Texas as
recorded in Cabinet P, Slide 53, Plat Records, Williamson County, Texas. Said 3,697
square foot tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as attached.
See ``Sketch to Accompany Description" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all
intents and purposes hereunto and in any wise pertaining, showing such easement.
This instrument is given specifically to release the described portion of said easement, which
portion of said easement is terminated by abandonment, termination, vacation, and cessation of purpose,
and which portion of said easement will be of no further effect, whether legal or equitable.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Round Rock, Texas has caused t is instrument entitled

FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION OF A 3697 SQUARE FOOT TRACT OF LAND BEING
A PORTION OF LOT 7, BLOCK B, FOREST CREEK SECTION 7, A SUBDIVISION
IN THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS AS RECORDED IN CABINET P, SLIDE
53, PLAT RECORDS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS. SAID 3697 SQUARE
FOOT TRACT BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND
BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS.
Beginning at an iron rod found at the most Westerly common corner of Lots 6 and 7,
Block B of the aforesaid subdivision same being in the North line of that certain tract of
land described as "Tract 2" in a deed to the City of Round Rock, Texas and recorded in
Volume 2060, Page 401, Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the
Southwesterly corner and POINT OF BEGINNING hereof
THENCE with the South line of said Lot 7 same being the North line of said "Tract 2",
S 54°34'39" E for a distance of 388.90 feet to a point of intersection with a thirty foot
(30') wide Public Utility Easement as shown on said subdivision plat, for the
Southeasterly corner hereof
THENCE through and across said Lot 7 with said thirty foot wide Public Utility
Easement, 30.17' along the arc of a curve to the right whose radius is 571.50' and whose
chord bears, N 35° 13' 12" W for a distance of 30.17' to a point for the Northeasterly
corner hereof.
THENCE continuing through and across said Lot 7, with a line being a perpendicular
distance of ten feet (10') to the North of and parallel to the South line of said Lot 7,
N 54° 34'39" W for a distance of 351.26' to a point in the North line of said Lot 7, same
being the South line of said Lot 6, for the Northwesterly corner hereof.
THENCE with the North line of said Lot 7, same being the South line of said Lot 6.
S 77°56'13" W for a distance of 13.57 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and
containing 3697 Square Feet of land, more or less.

SUBJECT: City Manager Approval at the December 21, 2007 staff meeting
ITEM: Release of a 3,697 square foot tract of land being a portion of
Lot 7, Block B, Forest Creek Section 7, a subdivision of record in
Cabinet P, Slide 53, of the Plat Records of Williamson County,
Texas, also known as 3800 Forest Creek Drive, Round Rock.

Justification:
The property owner is requesting to release a 10' public utility easement dedicated
with the original plat. The easement in question is on the southern property line,
and abuts the golf course.
Funding:
Cost: None
Source of Funds: N/A
Background Information:
All the appropriate utility providers have reviewed the proposal and have
concurred with the release request. The Legal Department has reviewed and
approved the request, and prepared the attached release document.
