CM-08-02-035DATE: January 28, 2008 SUBJECT: City Manager - February 1, 2008 ITEM: Action authorizing the City Manager to execute Change Order No. 2 with RGM Constructors for the Gattis School Roadway Improvements Project. Martin, P.E., Director of Transportation Services ,justification: In order to maintain the integrity of the existing waterline on Gattis School Road, the contractor was required to install a concrete cap approximately 20 linear feet in length. Funding: Cost: Source of funds: 2002 GO Bonds $13,967.00 Outside Reso Background Information: The City Council approved resolution #07-08-09-8A1 authorizing the contractor to perform the Gattis School Roadway Improvements. The project will widen the existing 4 -lane undivided roadway to a 4 -lane divided roadway from Dry Branch Creek Tributary to Dry Branch Creek. The project also includes widening improvements from Dixie Lane to 385 feet east of Surrey Drive and improvements at Via Sonoma Trail.
