Background Information:
A Seton Hospital representative approached the City staff about installing some lighting
along FM 1460 at Seton's driveways. Upon review of the site, City staff is recommending

Linda,
My department has made a request to Oncor to install a street light on an existing wood power pole near the north
driveway to Seton Hospital on FM 1460, and also to install a street Tight on an existing wood power pole near the
south driveway to Seton Hospital on FM 1460. We have been in discussions about these street lights with Jesse
Trevino of Oncor. Jesse informed me (see email below and attachments herewith) that the City has to execute a
document before Oncor will proceed with the installation of the street lights.
As background information, a representative of Seton approached me about getting some lighting along FM 1460
at the driveways noted above. Apparently, Seton employees and/or external customers had complaints that there
was no lighting near these driveways. Upon review of the situation, I noticed that there was an existing line of
power poles along the Seton side (west side) of FM 1460 that possibly afforded us an opportunity to attach street
lights without having to install new street light poles. I suggested that we use these existing poles and install the
lights with the understanding that when FM 1460 is reconstructed, these lights might need to be removed as part
of the whole lighting plan for the reconstructed roadway. The representative of Seton seemed to like my idea.
Anyway, Randy Barker suggested that I send this to you as you know how to proceed from this point. I would
appreciate you keeping me informed as you conduct your process. I am interested in knowing when the
authorization is finalized because once finalized; I believe it will be one or two weeks before the lights get
installed. Let me know if you need my assistance. Thanks for your help.
