Dear Mr. Garcia,
In recognition of the possible time delays in execution of an At -Grade Public
Road Crossing Improvement Agreement for the permanent railroad signals for
the CR 122 (Red Bud Lane) crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad facility in
Round Rock, this letter represents assurance that the City Staff will strongly
recommend to the City Council to approve the reimbursement of all the actual
costs incurred by Union Pacific Railroad for the city's project. The estimated
costs of these improvements are $383,159.00. The City will present the formal
At -Grade Public Road Crossing Improvement Agreement, subject to its
availability, to the City Council at their next regularly scheduled meeting on
February 22, 2007. I do not anticipate any problem with obtaining City Council
approval.
