Consider executing the Categorical Exclusion Not Subject to 58.5 and the Compliance Checklist for the
Round Rock Housing Authority Capital Fund 2015 Grant for Management Improvements and Operations.
In order to achieve HUD's goal of providing a safe, suitable living environment, an Environmental Review
Record (ERR) is required to be conducted for every project that is funded with federal funds. The City
Manager is the Certifying Officer for any project funded with federal funds that are located within the City
limits of the Responsible Entity (Round Rock) regardless of the agency receiving funds. The Round Rock
Housing Authority has received a Capital Improvement Grant from HUD that will be used for management
improvements and operations to include staff training and to update policies and procedures as well as to
pay for operations that include administrative expenses, utilities, maintenance materials, tenant services
and other general expenses. The Environmental Review Record (ERR) is a written record of the
environmental review undertaken for each project and shall be available for public review and must
contain all of the recommended formats. The Round Rock Housing Authority Capital Grant 2015 for
management improvements and operations required the following level of ERR be conducted and
executed by the Certifying Officer. Categorical Exclusion Not Subject to 58.5 24 CFR 58.35 (b) 3 and a
Compliance Checklist 24 CFR 58.6.
