R-2015-2800 - 9/10/2015 RESOLUTION NO. R-2015-2800 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock ("City") desires to upgrade its TASER weapons, accessories, and warranty, and WHEREAS, Section 252.022(4) of the Texas Local Government states that expenditures for items available from only one source are exempt from competitive bidding requirements, and WHEREAS, TASER International, Inc. is the sole source provider of all TASER products (see attached Exhibit"A"), and WHEREAS, the City wishes to issue a purchase order to TASER International, Inc., Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to TASER International, Inc. for the purchase of upgraded TASER weapons, accessories, and an extended warranty as described in the attached Exhibit"B."
