Item Summary:
This item would approve change order number one for the Buck Egger Park, Phase 2 project. The change order includes the
construction of the natural grass field and some additional sidewalk that was required by the Texas Department of Licensing and
Regulation (TDLR) review for compliance with ADA requirements.
The natural grass field was included in the original bid but was not awarded with the original contract due to the lack of funding.
The City recently received additional funding for the Buck Egger Park Project to finish out the park. The additional funding will
pay for the construction of the natural grass field.
This change order will allow the City to complete the full original project of a parking lot, synthetic turf field, natural grass field
and concrete sidewalks. The change order results in a 8.8% increase to the original contract amount.
