SUBJECT: City Manager Approval at the May 16, 2008 staff meeting
ITEM: Partial Release of A.W. Grimes PID #2 Assessment Lien, for the
following single parcel: Lot 4, Block M, Turtle Creek Village,
Phase One Section A, a Subdivision of record in Cabinet X,
Slides 104-108, of the Plat Records of Williamson County,
Texas.

Justification:
The assessment lien was imposed against this property as part of the A.W. Grimes
Public Improvement District No. 2, adopted by the City Council in 2002. The
assessment for this property was paid in 2003, but the City's lien was not released.
This lien recently came to the owner's attention during the process of conveying the
property. As the assessment has been paid, the lien may be released.

Background Information:
The Finance Department has confirmed the assessment for Phase I, Section A of
Turtle Creek Village was remitted on July 31, 2003. The Legal Department has
reviewed and approved the request, and prepared the attached release document.
