CM-08-06-166DATE: June 6, 2008
SUBJECT: City Manager Approval
ITEM: Emergency Management Performance Grant corrections
Department: Police Department
Staff Person: Bryan Williams
Justification: Consider authorizing a Grant amendment to the city's
current Emergency Management Performance Grant. This
grant is from the Governor's Division of Emergency
Management and partially funds salaries for the Emergency
Management Coordinator and Assistant Emergency
Management Coordinator. When the grant was initially
applied for, the Emergency Management Coordinator was an
interim position until the full-time position was filled. That
position was filled, and the grant amendment provides
corrections to the original application.
