CM-08-07-182DATE: July 7, 2008 SUBJECT: City Manager Approval at the July 11, 2008 staff meeting ITEM: Consider executing a Partial Release of "Drainage Easement" and "Waterline Easement and Wastewater Line Easement" for Alexan Palm Valley. Department: Planning and Community Development Staff Person: Jim Stendebach, Director of Planning and Community Development Ashley Lumpkin, Planner Justification: The property owner is requesting to release a portion of a 35' Drainage Easement and a portion of a 35' Waterline and Wastewater line Easement. The request is further described as a Partial Release of 8,237 square feet (0.19) of two 35' easements, those being a Waterline Easement and Wastewater Line Easement and a Drainage Easement recorded by separate instruments under Document Numbers 2005068798 and 2005092576 and shown on the Palm Valley Market Center Section 2 Final Plat, a subdivision recorded in Cabinet AA, Slides 315-317 of the Plat Records of Williamson Count, Texas. Funding: Cost: None Source of Funds: N/A Background Information: All the appropriate utility providers have reviewed the proposal and have concurred with the release request. The Legal Department has reviewed and approved the request, and prepared the attached release document.
