By default, the PA Open indicator will remain activated based on a duration time parameter passed to CAD from MOSCAD. This parameter is passed each time MOSCAD issues a PA Open command. 8. The PA Open indicator will remain activated until: a. The duration timer expires - OR b. The PA Open indicator button is manually deselected by the communicator - OR 9. SunGard will modify the current CAD messaging system to support incoming PA messages. Part 2 - MOSCAD Server Development 1. The MOSCAD system currently does not provide a PA Closed message to CAD. As a result, the PA Open indicator may not always represent the true operational status of the MOSCAD PA system. For example, the PA may actually be closed, but the CAD indicator will remain active until the duration timer expires. 9. Based on information received from the customer, the OSSI MOSCAD interface is compatible with their Motorola FSA4000 alerting system. Customer has tested the OSSI MOSCAD interface against their FSA4000 solution and confirmed that it is compatible and is therefore requesting SunGard to develop the modification outlined in this SOW.
