Background Information
The City Council approved the original construction contract, R -07-12-20-9F1, with
Fencecrete America, Inc. for $207,271.75 on December 20, 2007. This project is part of a
continuing program to aesthetically improve City street corridors. This fence will enhance
the visual appearance of the Gattis School Road corridor by replacing existing
privacy
fences, typically made of wood, with permanent, more durable concrete fencing.Change
Order No. 1 changes the fencing material from wood to concrete for two residences between
Magnolia Drive and Dixie Lane and adds a mangate at the residence on Dixie Lane. The
cost of this change order is $3,821.50 and would increase the total cost of the construction
contract to $211,093.25.
