WATERLINE EASEMENT

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a municipal corporation situated in the Counties of
Travis and Williamson, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 Dollars
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by KEY VIPER REAL ESTATE, L.P., a Texas
limited partnership, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby
ABANDON, RELEASE and DISCHARGE of a waterline easement of record in Document No.
2006035073, of the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas.
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, showing such easement and
describing a 5,831 square foot easement out of Lot 1B Replat of Lot 1B Jack Brown's at
Greenslopes, a subdivision recorded in Document number 2004082249, official records,
Williamson County, Texas. Said tract being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as attached; and
See "Sketch to Accompany Description" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all
intents and purposes hereunto and in any wise pertaining, showing such easement.
This instrument is given specifically to release the described portion of said easement, which
portion of said easement is terminated by abandonment, termination, vacation, and cessation of purpose,
and which portion of said easement will be of no further effect, whether legal or equitable.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Round Rock, Texas has caused this instrument entitled
"Release of Waterline Easement" to be executed on this the (1f t.i day of the month of

RECORDED IN DOCUMENT #2004082249, OFFICIAL RECORDS,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS. SAID TRACT BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING at a %:" iron pin found on the South line of Greenslopes at Lake Creek
Section Two, a subdivision recorded in Cab. D Slide 69 of the Williamson County, Texas Plat
Records, said point also being the North common comer of Lot IA and Lot LB of said Replat of Lot 1,
Jacks Brown's at Greenslopes.
THENCE S 00° 59' 00" W, 15.22 feet to the Northwest corner of this tract and the POINT
OF BEGINNING.

SUBJECT: City Manager Approval at the November 14, 2008 staff meeting
ITEM: Consider executing a Release of Water Line Easement located on
Lot 1B, Replat of Lot 1, Jack Brown's at Greenslopes, a
subdivision of record in Cabinet Z, Slides 184-185, of the Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas, also known as 1300 Gattis
School Road.

The property owner is requesting to release a water line easement dedicated to the
City by separate instrument. As part of a replatting process, it was determined that
an existing gas line was not contained in an appropriate easement, but instead
encroached into a water line easement. The City, through Engineering and
Development Services, wishes to release the existing water line easement, and will
be granted a new water line easement that accounts for a separate, newly
dedicated, gas line easement. With the new gas line and water line easements, the
current easement is no longer necessary and may be released.

Background Information:
Engineering and Development Services have reviewed the proposal and have
concurred with the release request. The Legal Department has reviewed and
approved the request, and prepared the attached release document.
