Landfill is on the west side of McNeil road. Enter from haul road.
Only type of fill that will be accepted is rock, black dirt, and concrete without rebar. City of
Round Rock, Texas may dump WTP sludge.
Type of fill not accepted is asphalt, concrete with rebar, or anything similar.
Companies using the Landfill must:
1. Pay in accordance with Dumping Guidelines revised for use by the City of
Round Rock, Texas
2. Push daily if necessary
3. Call Quarry Department (ph: 512-218-2228) if necessary
CHARGES:
Trailer Loads - $20.00 per load
Bobtail Loads - $15.00 per load

Contact Austin White Lime Quarry office (office 512-255-3609 ext/ 228; fax 218-2285) for permission to
dump and to establish cost and payment procedures. Payment from City of Round Rock, Texas will be made
on a monthly basis, and is established at the following rates: $20.00 for trailers and $15.00 for bobtails.
To ensure future dumping privileges, the City of Round Rock is required to observe the following rules:
1. An authorized signature on this form is required to be furnished by the City.
2. The City of Round Rock may dump WTP sludge. Only rock, dirt, and concrete without rebar will be
accepted subject to approval. No brush, asphalt, trash, lumber, or paper is allowed. No exceptions.
3. The City of Round Rock shall not be required to furnish a gate guard. However, the City of Round Rock is
responsible for keeping livestock inside the gate at all times.
4. Firearms will not be allowed on company property at any time. Austin White Lime reserves the right to
search any vehicle on Austin White Lime property for firearms.
5. Locks are opened by Austin White Lime employees daily around 7:15 a.m. The City of Round Rock will
only utilize the property from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
6. Dump only in your designated dump area. NO DUMPING IN RAINY WEATHER OR WHEN
MUDDY. NO WEEKEND HAULING without prior permission. Violators may be prosecuted.
7. Push your material periodically. Do not let it build up for long periods of time. Jobs using several
trucks may be required to have pushing equipment on-site to push as the material is delivered. Any
company that does not push their material will not be allowed back.
8. Inform Austin White Lime personnel of all vehicles that you hire to work for you. Their insurance
certificates must be submitted separately. Many local companies have insurance on file at AWL already.
9. DO NOT loan out your space. Each company must have their own space unless AWL personnel direct
otherwise.

Justification:
The Utility and Transportation Services Departments are requesting approval of an agreement
with Austin White Lime to permit dumping of waste material on their site. Austin White Lime
will accept Water Treatment Plant sludge, rock, dirt, and concrete without rebar. This
agreement is to establish permission and payment procedures on a monthly basis and disposal
rate of $20 per trailer load and $15 per bobtail Toad. The estimated annual expense is $10,800
which is based on 60 Toads per month at $15 per load.
Funding:
Cost: $10,800 ($5,400 from Utilities and $5,400 from Transportation)
Source of funds: 41000-5221 (Utilities) and 26000-5287(Transportation)

Background Information:
The City has been dumping waste material on the Austin White Lime property for a number of
years. The hole that the City has been filling on their property has now been filled. A new area
has been identified by Austin White Lime; however, prior to commencing with dumping
operations, Austin White Lime has requested an agreement establishing a disposal rate.
