City of Round Rock was called to check meters and see if water pressure can be increased to avoid purchasing a new booster pump. Booster pump was left on site. The City Of Round Rock in their construction of a tum lane at Via Sonoma Trail @ Gattis School Rd. damaged the irrigation system at that location. ISS Grounds Control will install 1000 feet of irrigation lateral lines, 2 irrigation valves and 66 spray heads to provide water to the area to re-establish grass in the area. The new system will be wired into the existing controller and connected to the existing controller and the water mainline. ISS Grounds Control had the City to install conduits under the sidewalk to give us the ability to water both sides of the sidewalk without throwing water over the sidewalk. Total Cost $1,937.00 ttax Turf Options Option #1 — Install 5800 sq. ft of Bermuda sod to the area. ISS Grounds Control after installing the irrigation system will top dress the area with dillo dirt and lay 13 pallets of Bermuda sod. The sod will be watered regularly through the winter months to keep the sod root system alive. The grass will be brown during the winter months because of being dormant but will come out of dormancy in the Spring and no additional work to the area will be necessary. Cost $5,050.00 + tax Option #2 — Seed with Winter Rye Grass ISS Grounds Control after installing the irrigation system will install winter rye grass seed to the 5800 sq. foot area. The area will be watered 4 times per day for a period of 4 to 6 weeks to insure germination of the rye grass seed. Interruption of the watering schedule will void the warranty on the seed and germination can not be guaranteed The winter rye grass will last from the months of December to April. The area will then be top dressed with dillo dirt and hydro -mulched with Bermuda grass seed. The area will be watered 4 times per day for a period of 4 to 6 weeks to insure germination of the Bermuda grass seed.
