This room is in need of an audio visual upgrade to increase the trainers' ability to effectively instruct and increase the students' retention of educational material. Visual Innovations has agreed to provide the labor and select equipment at no cost to the department in an effort to give back to the community and expand our brand. DISPLAY: VI will utilize existing NEC projectors and electric screens. VIDEO CONFERENCING: Polycom will provide (1) HDX 9002 codec for use in this installation. VI will install the codec in a rack to be provided by RRFD. This codec will connect via IP and RRFD should make that line available at the time of installation. VIDEO SOURCES: There will be multiple video sources in this room: 1) VTC Codec 2) OFE PC 3) OFE Laptop AUDIO REINFORCEMENT: VI will install (2) HDX ceiling microphone arrays. These microphones will be placed in the most acoustically suitable location. VI will also integrate OFE microphone(s) and ceiling speakers into this system. em -o61 -r2 -z31 Visilea! The customer is responsible for all electrical provisions. Visual Innovations can not contract out any of this work. Typical electrical connections for a projector include a standard 120V receptacle ona 20 amp circuit. Screens include two different connection variations. High Voltage — 120VAC must be hard wired to screen and up/down wall switch. Low Voltage -- 120VAC must be connected to the screen, tow voltage wiring connects up/down wall switch. This should also be completed be electrical contractor. This quotation is valid for 30 clays. Visual Innovations provides the "Object Code" which Is the machine interpretable program capable of executing or running the target system. The Source Code will be provided under the following" conditions: • The customer must agree in writing to purchase the source code prior to any code development by Visual Innovations Company. • Tho source code does not contain any software or code that Visual Innovations Company has purchased or licensed that would violate any license agreement Visual Innovations Company has with a third party author or manufacturer. VI shall execute the project work described in the included proposal and/or quote concerning the Owner's system integration work, The scope work is based upon information provided by the Owner. As the project work progresses, agreement on modifications may be necessary to complete the project. This will include the definition of primary contacts, implementation schedule, work site access, other trades coordination and escalation methodology. This will include the following: O VI will provide the client with the contact information for the responsible VI person with whom • client coordination will occur through the duration of the project. O Client to provide the contact information for the designated owner representative. • VI will coordinate scheduling of the project with the designated owner representative. O Facility access requirement including job site gate requirements, security, and escort requirements where required. O Schedule changes will be coordinated between the VI responsible person and the owner representative. VI recognizes that schedules change and that those changes may impact the overall project implementation schedule. (VI) LIMITED WARRANTY Standard 90 day Manufacturer's Warranty Service MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY SERVICE: If any products provided to the initial end-user customer should become defective within 90 days of delivery or installation by VI, VI will act on the behalf the customer to obtain repair or replacement from the manufacturer, provided that product is eligible for manufacturer's warranty coverage. Products covered during the manufacturer's warranty period are the responsibility of the manufacturer. This Manufacturer's Warranty Service is inclusive of the manufacturer's warranty; it does not replace the manufacturer's warranty, but provides certain additional benefits during the terns of the manufacturer's warranty. During the warranty period, Purchaser will either return the defective product; freight prepaid to the manufacturer, or deliver it to VI at the address listed below. The Product to be repaired is to be returned in either its original carton or a shnilar package affording an equal degree of protection. VI will return the repaired product freight prepaid to Purchaser, on behalf of the Purchaser, at any time during the 90 day Workmanship Warranty period. Projector lamps or other consumables are not covered trader this warranty but may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. VI'S PLEDGE TO CORRECT PROBLEMS UNDER WARRANTY: During the 90 day Workmanship Warranty period, at our option, VI will either repair or replace the in -warranty defective unit without charging the customer. When parts or products are exchanged under warranty the item(s) replaced will automatically become VI's property. In order to make repair or exchange under warranty VI may elect to use new parts or those reconditioned 10 the manufacturer's exacting standards of performance and quality. Once an item has been repaired under warranty it assumes tine remaining period of warranty based upon original date of purchase. This warranty covers hardware, materials and workmanship related issues and does not include any necessary labor for maintenance or service.
