That the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a municipal corporation situated in the Counties of
Travis and Williamson, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 Dollars
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by JOHN L. PARKER, the receipt and
sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby ABANDON, RELEASE and DISCHARGE
only the below -described portion of that certain 5' Public Utility Easement of record in Volume 99, Page
370-371 of the Real Property Records of Travis County, Texas, and also being of record in Document No.
2001027293 of the Official Public Records of Travis County, Texas, to -wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, describing 3,048 square feet of
land situated in Travis County, Texas, being a portion of Lots 2A and 2B, Block "A"
Replat of Lot 2, Block "A" resubdivision of Lot 2 Corridor Park I, a subdivision of record
in Volume 99, Pages 370-371 of the Plat Records of Travis County, Texas; said 3,048
square feet also being a portion of those certain 5 foot wide Public Utility Easements of
record in Volume 99, Pages 370-371 of said Plat Records; said 3,048 square feet being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as attached.; and
See "Sketch to Accompany Description" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all
intents and purposes hereunto and in anywise pertaining, showing such 5'easement being
released on Lot 2A and such 5' easement being released on Lot 2B.
This Recorrected Release of Portion of 5' Public Utility Easement ("Recorrected Release") is in
replacement of, and corrects, the original release of easement effective January 8, 2010 and recorded in
Document No. 2010005123, Official Records, Travis County, Texas ("Original Release"). The Original
Release of easement remains in full force and effect, with the exception of the substitution of the
reference to Document No. 199630503002 in the Original Release, with the reference to Document No.
2001027293 in this Recorrected Release. This Recorrected Release is also in replacement of, and
corrects, the Correction Release of Portion of 5' Public Utility Easement executed on January 22, 2010
and recorded in Document No. 2010010433, Official Records, Travis County, Texas ("Correction
Release") which did not contain the Exhibit "A" referenced in the Correction Release.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Round Rock, Texas has caused this instrument entitled
"Recorrected Release of Portio of 5' Public Utility Easement" to be executed for and on behalf of all

COMMENCING, at a 1/2 inch iron rod found in the southerly line of

in Volume 85, Pages 106D -107A of said Plat Records and the
northwesterly corner of said Lot 2A;
THENCE, along the southerly line of Parker Drive, being a portion

courses and distances:
1) S50°03'31"E, a distance of 327.84 feet to the point of
curvature of a curve to the left;
2) Along said curve to the left having a radius of 340.00 feet,

and a chord which bears S51°16'10"E, a distance of 14.13
feet to a point;
THENCE, S37°32'25"W, leaving the southerly line of Parker Drive,
over and across said Lot 2A, a distance of 5.00 feet to a point
at the intersection of the curving southerly line of said 5 foot
wide Public Utility Easement of Record with the westerly line of
said 5 foot wide Public Utility Easement of Record, for the POINT
OF BEGINNING, and northwesterly corner hereof;
THENCE, over and across said Lots 2A and 2B, along the southerly
line of said 5 foot wide Public Utility Easement of Record, along
a curve to the left having a radius of 345.00 feet, a central
angle of 01°39'55", an arc length of 10.03 feet and a chord which
bears S53°17'32"E, a distance of 10.03 feet to the easterly line

northeasterly corner hereof;

City staff is proposing to release a portion of a 5' wide public utility easement that was
dedicated with the latest version of the plat for this property (recorded in 1996). There is
no infrastructure in this portion of the easement, all utility providers concur with the
release, and a building slab currently encroaches into the easement.
Engineering and Development Services concurs with the request to release the easement;
the City Attorney's office has reviewed the request and prepared the attached release
document.
