This right-of-way is necessary for the improvement to Chisholm Trail. DOC REV. 3/8/10 MEMORANDUM TO: Jim Nuse FROM: Steve Sheets DATE: 3/24/10 RE: Chisholm Trail—parcel 21—Georgetown Rail Road Company Acquisition of (1) 0.0149 acre fee and (2) 0.0057 acre temporary construction easement out of a 1.032 acre parent tract at the west line of Chisholm Trail Rd., south of N. Industrial Blvd. Property Owner Request Georgetown Rail Road is requesting that the City forego the use of a Real Estate Contract for the acquisition of the fee interest and TCE in Parcel 21. Bill Snead, President of Georgetown Rail Road, would like make the transfer of title as simple as possible and has agreed to sign the TCE and Special Warranty Deed before receiving a check from the City. The lack of Real Estate Contract will not produce any foreseeable legal problems. The City's initial offer for the fee acquisition and TCE was $2,858. Mr. Snead has indicated that Georgetown Rail Road will accept the City's offer. By signing below, you acknowledge that the City of Round Rock agrees to purchase the fee interest and TCE in Parcel 21 for $2,858 without the use of a Real Estate Contract.
