Item Summary:
The property owner wishes to make improvements in the back yard. However, a 15' PUE encumbers the property.
No utilities have facilities in the easement at this time, and all are willing to release the innermost half of the
easement. Doing so will allow the owner more use of their property, thus enhancing property values.
Because all utility providers — including the City of Round Rock — concur with the release of this portion of the
easement, it is appropriate to do so, thus increasing both the owner's use of the space and the value of the
property.

That the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a municipal corporation situated in the Counties of
Travis and Williamson, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 Dollars
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by DEBORAH K. DIRKS and LYNN DIRKS,
the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby ABANDON, RELEASE and
DISCHARGE only the below -described portion of that certain 15' Public Utility Easement of record in
Cabinet I, Slide 187 of the Official Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, to -wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, describing the innermost 7.5 feet
of the 15 foot Public Utility Easement on the rear property line of Lot 17, Block I, The
Woods Section 2 as Amended, a subdivision in Williamson County, Texas, according to
the map or plat thereof recorded in Cabinet I, Slide 187, Plat Records of Williamson
County, Texas, and labeled as "Partial Easement Release 7.5 feet of 15 foot Easement" in
the attached Exhibit "A".
This instrument is given specifically to release the described portion of said easement, which
portion of said easement is terminated by abandonment, termination, vacation, and cessation of purpose,
and which portion of said easement will be of no further effect, whether legal or equitable.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Round Rock, Texas has caused this instrument entitled
"Release of Portion of 15' Public Utility Easement" to be executed on this the /5+1 day of the month of
