This Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to "City of Round Rock Agreement for
Architectural Services for 615 East Palm Valley Campus Project with KA Hickman Architects &
Interior Designers" is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas (hereinafter referred
to as the "City"), and KA Hickman Architects & Interior Designers (hereinafter referred to as
"KA Hickman").
WHEREAS, the City and KA Hickman executed the referenced Agreement (hereinafter
referred to as the "Agreement") on the 12th day of the month of August, 2010 for provision of
professional architectural services and interior design services related to the remodel of four
existing City -owned buildings located at 615 East Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City and KA Hickman also executed accompanying Supplemental
Agreement No. 1 on the same date; and
WHEREAS, it has now become necessary to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to
add new services to the Scope of Services, said services relating to professional land surveying,
and to add new fees relating thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and KA Hickman agree that said
Agreement is amended as follows:
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
I.
The Scope of Services shall be amended by addition of the following:
KA Hickman shall be responsible for securing provision from Baker-Aicklen &
Associates, Inc. of professional land surveying services for Lot 9A, Heritage Center, located at
615 East Palm Valley Boulevard. Such services shall include surveying the entire channel and
100 -year floodplain within the easement, topographic and planimetric mapping of the existing
four (4) buildings, the contiguous parking areas, the southerly half of Palm Valley Boulevard,

and other Lot 9A areas not previously surveyed. Relative to ground surveys, the following
services shall be performed:
1. Perform digital CADD overlay of all previous boundary and improvements as surveyed
by Baker-Aicklen & Associates, Inc.
2. Locate and elevate, based on previous control, buildings in the Lot 9A area; incorporate
with previous survey data to include the existing drainage channel topography.
3. Locate and elevate flow lines of culverts, drainage structures, parking, sidewalks and all
visible improvements; show the existing FEMA and City of Round Rock ultimate 100 -year
floodplains.
4. Locate, tag and identify protected trees on Lot 9A, per City of Round Rock
specifications.
5. Deliver electronic files and paper copies, if requested, of surveyed areas to engineers.

Section 1.1.2.5 of the Agreement shall be amended by addition of the following:
The Fee Schedule relative to this Agreement shall show an increase for Professional
Services in the amount of $11,376.00 to the previous not -to -exceed amount of $368,711.00, and
such increase is in payment for the additional services added to the Scope of Services by this
Supplemental Agreement No. 2. No additional reimbursable expenses are authorized.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and KA Hickman have executed this Supplemental
Agreement No. 2 in duplicate originals.
