May 6, 2011 Department: Infrastructure Development and Construction Management Project Manager: Jeff Bell Item Summary: Oncor Electric Company requires an easement to extend electric facilities to serve the City's Reuse Water Treatment facilities at the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (BCRWWTP). This Supplemental Contract No. 2 will provide services to establish metes and bounds for said easement. The BCRWWTP site is owned by several entities; however, the Reuse Water Facilities being constructed by the City will be solely owned by the City therefore a suitably sized area to contain the City's Reuse Water Facilities must be defined. This Supplemental Contract No. 2 will provide services to establish metes and bounds for said area. Finally, this Supplemental Contract No. 2 will provide services to establish metes and bounds for a Reuse Water Elevated Storage Tank (EST) site and a necessary 30' access easement to the EST on the Avery property in the northeast quadrant of the City in the vicinity of University Boulevard and College Park Drive. Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum To Exhibit B. Exhibit C, Work Schedule shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum To Exhibit C. 1I. Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D, Fee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by $10,407.00 the lump sum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $602,059.00, as shown by the attached Addendum to Exhibit D. Any special conditions to ROE must be forwarded to our office before survey operations begin. B. Prepare Boundary/Easement Survey 1. Field surveying of the properties will be sufficient to utilize the gathered information and prepare up to 2 easement descriptions for the waterline and tank site (assuming coincident TCEs). The easement survey will consist of plats of the property and an accompanying metes and bounds descriptions thereof suitable for acquisition purposes. 2. Inland anticipates this activity will take approximately 2 weeks to accomplish from NTP. The ESTIMATED fee for the above services: $3,720,00 The estimated fee proposed above are based on personnel time required to perform the described Scope of Services. Additional time requirements resulting fromproject scope changes, plan revisions, field recovery of or discrepancies of control provided will be considered reasonable cause for us to seek additional compensation for services not included in these amounts.
