Item Summary:
Oncor Electric Company requires an easement to extend electric facilities to serve the City's Reuse Water Treatment
facilities at the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (BCRWWTP). This Supplemental Contract No. 2
will provide services to establish metes and bounds for said easement.
The BCRWWTP site is owned by several entities; however, the Reuse Water Facilities being constructed by the City
will be solely owned by the City therefore a suitably sized area to contain the City's Reuse Water Facilities must be
defined. This Supplemental Contract No. 2 will provide services to establish metes and bounds for said area.
Finally, this Supplemental Contract No. 2 will provide services to establish metes and bounds for a Reuse Water
Elevated Storage Tank (EST) site and a necessary 30' access easement to the EST on the Avery property in the
northeast quadrant of the City in the vicinity of University Boulevard and College Park Drive.

TO CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES

PROJECT: Water Reuse System — Phase 1
This Supplemental Contract No. 2 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between
the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and HDR Engineering, Inc.,
hereinafter called the "Engineer".
WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter
called the "Contract", on the 25th day of March, 2010 for the Water Reuse System — Phase 1
Project in the amount of $543,491.00; and
WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 1 on January 7, 2011 to
amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $48,161.00 to a total of
$591,652.00; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the
scope of services and to increase the compensation by $10,407.00 to a total of $602,059.00; and
NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract
is amended as follows:

Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set
forth in the attached Addendum To Exhibit B. Exhibit C, Work Schedule shall be amended as
set forth in the attached Addendum To Exhibit C.

Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D, Fee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by
$10,407.00 the lump sum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $602,059.00, as
shown by the attached Addendum to Exhibit D.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Engineer have executed this Supplemental
Contract in duplicate.

Engineering Services
1. Administrate services of survey subconsultant (Inland Geodetics, LP).
2. Coordinate requested easement requirements with CORR and Oncor Electric Delivery.
3. Development of dimensional drawings for preparation of CORR Reuse Water Treatment
Facilities easement and Oncor Electric easement.
4. Subconsultant services:
a. Provide field survey of the proposed Reuse Water EST Site and the 30' Access
Easement. Deliver three (3) original sets of field notes and drawings of each (Site
and Access Easement). See letter proposal from Inland that is attached behind this
page.
b. Provide field survey of the proposed CORR Reuse Water Treatment Facilities
tract and the proposed Oncor Electric easement at the Brushy Creek Regional
WWTP. Deliver three (3) original sets of field notes and drawings of each (Reuse
and Oncor easement). See letter proposal from Inland that is attached behind this
page.

Inland Geodetics, LP (Inland) is pleased to submit our proposal for professional land surveying services
related to the above referenced project. Our proposal is to generate 2 easement descriptions as depicted
on a exhibit received Feb. 25, 2011. Below is a specific list of our proposed Scope of Services and
estimated costs.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
A. Right of Entry
1. Inland assumes the affected owners have been contacted requesting access for surveying
operations, and that right -of -entry has been secured. Any special conditions to ROE must be
forwarded to our office before survey operations begin.
B. Prepare Boundary/Easement Survey
1. Field surveying of the properties will be sufficient to utilize the gathered information and prepare
up to 2 easement descriptions for the waterline and tank site (assuming coincident TCEs). The
easement survey will consist of plats of the property and an accompanying metes and bounds
descriptions thereof suitable for acquisition purposes.
2. Inland anticipates this activity will take approximately 2 weeks to accomplish from NTP.
The ESTIMATED fee for the above services: $3,720,00
The estimated fee proposed above are based on personnel time required to perform the described Scope
of Services. Additional time requirements resulting fromproject scope changes, plan revisions, field
recovery of or discrepancies of control provided will be considered reasonable cause for us to seek
additional compensation for services not included in these amounts.

NOTE: This proposal understands Thal HDR Engineering, Inc. will provide a VALID and CURRENT Tax Exempt Resole

(heir deliverables. A copy of Ihls certificate win be forwarded to Inland Geodellcs, LP in lieu of incuntng sales lax charges
for the boundary surveying portion of this proposal.
