July 8, 2011 Department: Transportation Project Manager: Bill Stablein Item Summary: Traffic Signal Replacement — U.S. 79 at Sunrise Road was approved by the City Council on February 24, 2011. This project is to replace the traffic signal poles with a mast arm set up and to install upgraded equipment. Due to the utility line conflict with the signal pole foundation and the close proximity to overhead electric lines, the proposed pole could not be installed. The solution is to install a new pole at the opposite corner that will accommodate a double mast arm configuration. Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 is for the purchase and installation of the new double mast arm pole.
