Item Summary:
The original construction contract with Patin Construction LLC was approved by the City Council on November 23, 2010, for the
amount of $572,569. The improvements for the Little Oaks Subdivision included: installation of concrete ribbon curbs; widening
and overlay of existing streets; re -grading of roadside ditches; storm sewer installation; replacement of driveways; and sidewalk
improvements along RM 620.
Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 adjusted the contract to known field quantities for additional flexible base; additional
concrete sidewalk; additional concrete driveway; additional 12" storm sewer culvert; and additional water service adjustments.
This change order was approved by the City Manager's office on June 1, 2011 at the cost of $21,345.50. The combined cost of the
original construction contract and Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 is $593,914.50.
Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 2 included the following items that were not in the original scope of the project: extend
sidewalks from the right-of-way line to the street curb and raise castings for paving. Also, a quantity adjustment is included to
account for actual quantities provided. The cost of Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 2 is $20,096 which brought the total
contract amount to $614,010.50.
