RE: Water and Wastewater Easement covering a 0.064 acre tract of land
situated in the Willis Donahoe Survey Abstract 173 in Williamson
County, Texas, being a portion of that 1.04 acre tract of land conveyed to
Grace F. McElyea by instrument recorded in Volume 853, Page 369 of the
Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
Dear Ms. Young:
I enjoyed talking with you yesterday regarding the acquisition of a water and
wastewater line easement on behalf of my client, the City of Round Rock, Texas
("City"). Please allow this letter to set out my understanding regarding our agreement
for the City's purchase of a water and wastewater easement necessary for the
construction of this project. The easement that the City seeks to acquire is enclosed (the
"Easement")
In return for granting the Easement, the City will pay you the sum of $3,000.00.
Additionally, the City will install a tap on the wastewater line. However, you will be
responsible for all costs, including fees, associated with connecting your home to the
wastewater line.
If this meets with your understanding, please execute this letter where indicated
and return it to me. Please also execute the Easement with a notarized signature and
return it to me. You are welcome to use the notary services available at my office for no
charge. Please also complete the enclosed W-9. Upon receipt of this letter signed by
you, the completed W-9, and the Easement, we will have this transaction processed for
payment as quickly as possible.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns
about these issues.
