K Friese & Associates, Inc. prepared plans for the repair of the side slope under a Work Authorization Engineering Services Contract with the City. The engineer's estimate for the repair was approximately $24,000. Even though the project is not subject to State bidding statuses, the City requested bids for the repair work; eight bidders responded to the City's initial request. The bid submitted by TCB Construction, Inc. appears to provide the best value for the City. Staff recommends approval. City of Round Rock Page 1 Printed on 2/1812016
