Kay Gayle Item Summary: This item is for Change Order #1 which includes the following changes: 1) Additional waterline due to the existing hose bibs being tied on to the reuse irrigation line. The additional waterline connects the hose bibs to the potable water line and brings them into compliance with TCEQ regulations. 2) Additional charge related to the installation of the turf irrigation on the multipurpose field. Due to the construction timing of the multipurpose field, the contractor has to install the turf irrigation system for this area in two phases which results in additional work. 3) Re-routing of approximately 240 linear feet of existing tree irrigation. The existing tree irrigation was located under a corner of the new multipurpose field and needed to be re-routed so staff would not have to destroy the multipurpose field if repairs were needed on this section of the line. The irrigation line was not shown on the as -built plans for the area.
