The Austin Tenants Council is requesting additional time in order to ensure expenditure of all funds. Thank you for •ur consleration of this request therine Stark Executive Director Austin Tenants' Council TERM EXTENSION AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF ROUND ROCK AND THE AUSTIN TENANTS COUNCIL This Term Extension Agreement No. 1 to the Community Development Block Grant Agreement between the City of Round Rock and the Austin Tenants Council, hereinafter called "Extension Agreement," is made by and between the City of Round Rock, a Texas home -rule municipal corporation (the "City") and the Austin Tenants Council ("Tenants Council"). WHEREAS, the City and Tenants Council executed that certain Community Development Block Grant Agreement on the 26th day of October, 2012 (the "Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the Agreement expires on the 1st day of August, 2013; and WHEREAS, Tenants Council has requested to extend the Agreement until August 31, 2013, and the City desires to grant such extension; and NOW THEREFORE, that for and in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, the City and Tenants Council agree as follows: Agreement: 1. Pursuant to Section 2.1 of the Agreement, the time of performance is extended until August 31, 2013. 2. This Extension Agreement embodies the first extension of the term of the Agreement, and extends the original Agreement as to time only with no other changes in terms or conditions of the original Agreement. 3. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Extension Agreement shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Agreement. 4. This Extension Agreement may be executed in multiple counterparts, which, when combined together, shall constitute an original of this Extension Agreement. 5. This Extension Agreement, together with the Agreement, embodies the entire agreement of the parties hereto, and is binding upon and inures to the benefit of the parties to this Extension Agreement and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, legal representatives, successors and assigns and incorporates all previous correspondence or communication, whether written or oral.
