The park has been listed on the Repair and Replace Program and will be updated to current park standards. The project includes the demolition of existing park amenities and construction of a new playground, walking trail loop, park pavilion, drinking fountains, and site furnishings (picnic tables, grills, benches, and trash receptacles). This project was identified in Year 3 of the PARD Repair and Replacement Program. Staff met with the neighborhood to gather input on the park master plan. The final improvement plan will be presented to the neighborhood for feedback. The neighborhood was excited to see the redevelopment efforts. Staff recommends approval of this item. Our proposal is to provide a detailed as-built/topo survey of portions of the existing pork infrastructure located at 1804 Frontier Trail. Below is a specific list of our proposed Scope of Services and Basis for Compensation. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. As-Built/Topo Survey 1. Establish project control from reconciled to the CORR GPS Monument System. Secondary control will be extended as necessary throughout the project limits using the derived data. 2. Provide limited as-built/topo and a limited improvement survey of the park 10 include, play areas, planters. trees, drainage structures and visible utilities, and portions of the rood crossing area for pedestrians. 3. Prepare office computations and data processing to provide an accurate 1.00 foot contour interval DTM of the collected areas and an associated ASCII point file in AutoCod dwg file. An ASCII point file and XML tin file will also be provided. The boundary of the park will be researched and depicted as part of the survey. SCHEDULE 1. Due to the short duration of the project. a work schedule is deemed unnecessary. Work will start within 3 days of NTP with delivery within 4 weeks or less. FEE SCHEDULE We propose to provide the above described Scope of Services on a lump sum basis as listed below. A. As-built/Topo Survey - Frontier Park ti 10,350.00 The lump sum amounts proposed above are based on personnel time required to perform the described Scope of Services. Additional time requirements resulting from project scope changes or plan revisions beyond our control will be considered reasonable cause for us to seek additional compensation for services not included in these amounts.
