This is an application to vacate a portion of a 15 -foot water easement that crosses Lot 1,
Block A of the Final Plat of Round Rock High School #1. Section 36-46 of the Subdivision
Ordinance allows a landowner to request the vacation of an easement established by an
approved plat or by separate instrument.
Round Rock High School is located on Lot 1. The fire hydrants and water line that serve the
school are being relocated to accommodate the expansion of the school building. A new
easement will be dedicated for the relocated water line and hydrants. All service providers
have consented to the proposed vacation.
Staff recommends approval.

That the CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, a municipal corporation situated in the Counties of
Travis and Williamson, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 Dollars
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration paid by the Round Rock Independent School District,
the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby ABANDON, RELEASE and
DISCHARGE only the below -described portion of that certain Waterline Easement of record in
Document 2011020289 of the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas, to -wit:
Being a 0.29 acre of land situated in Williamson County, Texas, out of the J.M. Harrell Survey, Abstract
No. 284 and being a PARTIAL VACATION of a 0.30 acre easement described as Tract 3 in a Waterline
Easement recorded in Document Number 2011020289 of the Official Public Records of Williamson
County, Texas, same being a portion of Lot 1, Block "A", Final Plat of RRISD High School #1, recorded
as Document Number 2010078363 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas and further
described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes.
This instrument is given specifically to release only the described portion of said easement, which
portion of said easement is terminated by abandonment, termination, vacation, and cessation of purpose,
and which portion of said easement will be of no further effect, whether legal or equitable.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Round Rock, Texas has caused this instrument entitled
"Release of Portion of Waterline Easement" to be executed on this the .1* day of the month of

Being 0.29 acre of land situated in Williamson County, Texas, out of the J.M. Harrell Survey, Abstract
No. 284 and being a PARTIAL VACATION of a 0.30 acre easement described as Tract 3 in a
Waterline Easement recorded in Document Number 2011020289 of the Official Public Records of
Williamson County, Texas, same being a portion of Lot 1, Block "A", Final Plat of RRISD High School

further described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a calculated point in said Lot 1, Block "A" for the northwest corner of this tract, from
which a nail and washer found for the southwest corner of Lot 3B, Replat of Lot 3, Deepwood Center
Section 2, recorded as Cabinet AA, Slide 237 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, same
being the most westerly northwest corner of said Lot 1, Block "A" bears N 85°3T07" W, 472.33 feet;
