O� 5 -5 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, SECTIONS 3.1411 AND 3.1412, CODE OF ORDINANCES, 1990 EDITION, CITY OF ROUND ROCK; PROVIDING FEES FOR, (1) APPLICATIONS FOR AN AREA IDENTIFICATION SIGN; (2) A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO SETBACK AND/OR HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That Chapter 3, Section 3.1411, Code of Ordinances, 1990 Edition, City of Round Rock, shall be amended by adding paragraph (13) which shall read as follows: (13) The application for an area identification sign shall be accompanied by a fee of $250.00. II. That Chapter 3, Section 3.1412, Code of Ordinances, 1990 Edition, City of Round Rock, shall be amended by adding paragraph (6) which shall read as follows: (6) The application for a special exception to the setback and/or height requirements shall be accompanied by a fee of $250.00. II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. READ and APPROVED on first reading this the ' xl'day of 1991. Consider an ordinance amending Chapter 3, Building Regulations, Code of Ordinances, to provide for fees for applications for area identification signs and special exceptions to setback and/or height requirements. (Second Reading) STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Joe Vining RECOMMENDATION: Approval This ordinance will establish a $250.00 fee for applications for area identification signs and special exceptions for signs. This covers the administrative costs for processing these applications to the Development Review Board. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of this ordinance on October 17, 1991.
