The City received four proposals for the Rabb House Redevelopment Project. JJacobs Construction
was named the number one proposer. All four proposals were over the estimated budget. The city
was not able to value engineer and negotiate an agreement within our budget with JJacobs
Construction. The city staff recommends rejection of all bids and to rebid the project and to promote
more general contractor participation. Scope of the proposed amphi theatre and landscaping of the
project has been re -designed for cost savings.
Staff recommends approval.
