RE: A.W. Grimes Boulevard (Phase II)
Dear Mr. Martin:
On Tuesday, June 21, 2005, Rodriguez Transportation Group, Inc. (RTG) in the City of
Round Rock Council chambers accepted completed sealed construction bid documents
for the above referenced project. The sealed bids were opened, read aloud and
documented. The attendees were informed that RTG would review the bid documents for
accuracy and completeness and make a recommendation to the City of Round Rock
accordingly. The City of Round Rock would then notify the successful candidate after a
city council vote.
RTG has reviewed the submitted bid documents. Of the five bids received, RGM
Constructors, L.P. presented the lowest bid of $4,978,357.76. The pre-bid documents
submitted by RGM Constructors, L.P. were found to be complete and accurate. We
therefore respectfully recommend them as the prime contractor for this construction
project.
We are returning all of the original contractor pre-bid documents and corresponding bid
bond documents. It is our understanding that the City of Round Rock will retum these
bid bond documents. In addition, we are enclosing the five bids that have been
transferred to the City of Round Rock "Bid Tabs" form.
If you have any questions or require additional information please advise.
Sincerely,
