WHEREAS, the Round Rock City Council desires to provide quality
park facilities for the residents of Round Rock, and
WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has obtained a grant from the
Texas Park and Wildlife Department for the development of a community
park and desires to comply with all of the requirements set forth in
the grant, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
Section 1. In order to fulfill the requirements of the Texas
Parks and Wildlife Department's grant to the City of Round Rock, the
City Council hereby designates two acres of parkland along Brushy Creek
Trail East for open space.
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
appropriate documents approving the terms and conditions of the
agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of
the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted
upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, as amended.

DESCRIPTION OF A 2.000 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE JOSEPH MARSHALL SURVEY,
ABSTRACT NUMBER 409, IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF LOT 11, BLOCK
B, FOREST BLUFF SECTION 1C, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN CABINET 0,
SLIDES 346-348 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS. SAID 2.000 ACRE TRACT
OF LAND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a found iron pipe in the easterly boundary line of the remaining portion of that called 240 acre tract
of land conveyed to M. 11. Freeman by instrument recorded in Volume 343, Page 230 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, being the most southerly corner of said Lot 11 and the most northwesterly comer of that
called 2.426 acre tract of land conveyed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, by instrument recorded in Document No.
2004056071 of the Official public records of Williamson County, Texas;
1) THENCE, with in part, the easterly boundary line of the remaining portion of said 240 acre tract, and in
part, the easterly boundary line of that called 31.437 acre tract of land (Tract One), conveyed to the Lower
Colorado River Authority by instrument recorded in Document No. 9663491 of the Official Records of
Williamson county, Texas, same being the westerly boundary line of said Lot 11, N 01°51'32" W, passing
at a distance of 324.40 feet, a calculated point, being the northeasterly comer of the remaining portion of
said 240 acre tract and the southeasterly corner of said 31.437 acre tract, and continuing for a total distance
of 853.97 feet to a calculated point, being the northwesterly corner of the herein described tract;
2) THENCE, departing the easterly boundary line of said 31.437 acre tract, through the interior of said Lot
11, N 88°08'28" E for a distance of 170.18 feet to a calculated point in the easterly boundary line of said
Lot 11, same being the existing westerly right-of-way line of Forest Bluff Trail (right-of-way width varies),
as dedicated by said plat of Forest Bluff Section 1C, being the northeasterly corner of the herein described
tract;
THENCE, with the easterly boundary line of said Lot 11 and said existing westerly right-of-way line of Forest Bluff
Trail, the following eight (8) courses:
3) S 11°02'41" W for a distance of 87.43 feet to a calculated point at the beginning of a curve to the left;
4) Along said curve to the left, having a delta angle of 06°35'24", a radius of 325.00 feet, an arc length of
37.38 feet, and a chord which bears S 07°44'59" W for a distance of 37.36 feet to a calculated point at the
beginning of a curve to the right;
5) Along said curve to the right, having a delta angle of 37°43'45", a radius of 15.00 feet, an arc length of
9.88 feet, and a chord which bears S 23°18'44" W for a distance of 9.70 feet to a calculated point at the
beginning of a curve to the left;
6) Along said curve to the left, having a delta angle of 43°32'13", a radius of 35.00 feet, an arc length of
26.60 feet, and a chord which bears S 20°24'21" W for a distance of 25.96 feet to a calculated point;
7) S 05°26'38" E for a distance of 48.02 feet to a calculated point at the beginning of a curve to the left;
8) Along said curve to the left, having a delta angle of 43°17'25", a radius of 35.00 feet, an arc length of
26.44 feet, and a chord which bears S 31°10'35" E for a distance of 25.82 feet to a calculated point at the
beginning of a curve to the right;

10) S 13°45'42" E for a distance of 21.97 feet to a calculated point, being the northeasterly corner of Lot 10,
Block B, of said subdivision;
THENCE, departing the existing westerly right-of-way line of Forest Bluff Trail, with the common boundary line
of said Lot 11 and Lots 4 through 10, Block B, of said subdivision, the following eight (8) courses:
11) S 76°14'24" W for a distance of 50.00 feet to a calculated point, being the northwesterly corner of said Lot
10;
12) S 01°29'01" W for a distance of 114.57 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly corner of Lot
9 and Lot 10 of said subdivision;
13) S 03°32'46" W for a distance of 72.83 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly comer of Lot

14) S 04°27'36" W for a distance of 56.59 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly comer of Lot

15) S 02°46'49" W for a distance of 58.46 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly corner of Lot

16) S 00°39'51" E for a distance of 60.02 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly comer of Lot 5

17) S 04°53'55" E for a distance of 71.77 feet to a calculated point, being the common westerly corner of Lot 4
and Lot 5 of said subdivision;
18) S 07°12'30" E for a distance of 37.34 feet to a found 1/2" iron rod, being an angle point in the westerly
boundary line of said Lot 4, from which a found 1/2" iron rod, being the common westerly comer of Lot 3
and Lot 4 of said subdivision, and the most northerly comer of said 2.426 acre tract, bears S 14°24'00' E a
distance of 37.44 feet;
19) THENCE, departing the westerly boundary line of said Lot 4, with the common boundary line of said Lot
11 and said 2.426 acre tract, S 34°59'25" W for a distance of 147.53 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
containing 2.000 acres of land, more or less.
