AN ORDINANCE RESCHEDULING THE SECOND REGULAR MARCH MEETING OF THE ROUND ROCK CITY COUNCIL FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, 2004; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS. WHEREAS, the second regularly scheduled October meeting of the Round Rock City Council falls during the annual Texas Municipal League ("TML") conference, and WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Round Rock requires that the City Council hold at least two regular meetings each month and as many additional meetings as it deems necessary to transact the business of the City and its citizens and the City Council has, pursuant to the Charter directions, set the second and fourth Thursdays of each month as the two regular monthly meetings, and WHEREAS, because of the conflict with the annual TML conference, the Council deems it necessary to reschedule the second regularly scheduled meeting for the month of October, 2004, Now Therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That the second regularly scheduled meeting for the month of October, 2004, is hereby rescheduled to the 26th of October, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. II. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.
