AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF MEANDERING WAY AND
WOODLAND LANE AS AN ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION;
PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS:
I.
That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995
Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described
intersection is hereby designated as an all -way stop intersection
with a stop sign to be erected as follows:
ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
Meandering Way
(both directions)
Woodland Lane
Woodland Lane Meandering Way
II.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.
C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which

this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which
this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed,

of Meandering Way and Woodland Lane (Second Reading)
Resource: Tom Word, Director of Transportation Services
History: The traffic and engineering study has been completed which indicates an all way
stop is warranted at this intersection.
Funding:
Cost: $100
Source of funds: Operating Signs and Markers
Outside Resources: N/A
Impact: Traffic control devices once installed will improve vehicle low and pedestrian safety
at this intersection.
Benefit: Improved safety for residents.
