G-02-03-26-8A2 - 3/26/2002ORDINANCE NO. l3' - OO(12f?J -J AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF PLANTATION DRIVE AND FALKIRK DRIVE AS AN ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described intersection is hereby designated as an all -way stop intersection with stop signs to be erected as follows: ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH Falkirk Drive Plantation Drive Plantation Drive Falkirk Drive (both directions) II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. (Second Reading) Resource: Jim Nuse, Public Works Director Tom Word, City Traffic Engineer History: A recent traffic investigation at the intersection of Plantation Drive and Falkirk Drive revealed that increased pedestrian volumes and the recreation center at this intersection necessitate an all way stop.
