G-01-12-06-12B1 - 12/6/2001ORDINANCE NO. l7 01- / g -O( -1 c2L3 I AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF LACEY OAK COVE TO LAZY OAK COVE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That the name the street now known as Lacey Oak Cove is hereby changed to Lazy Oak Cove. II. All references to this street name in The Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, are hereby amended to reflect said change. III. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which ::ODMA\WORLDOX\O:\WDOX\ORDINANC\O11206B1.WPD/SC this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended. Resource: Joe Vining, Planning Director History: During the recording process the developer was informed that a street name had been duplicated and needed to be change to avoid confusion for emergency, postal and delivery services within Round Rock's city limits.
