AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF ST. WILLIAMS DRIVE AND
LIME ROCK DRIVE AS AN ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION;
PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS:
I.
That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995
Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described
intersection is hereby designated as an all -way stop intersection
with stop signs to be erected as follows:
ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
St. Williams Drive Lime Rock Drive
(both directions)
Lime Rock Drive
(both directions)
St. Williams Drive
II.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.

C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which
this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which
this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed,
considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and
the Act.

SUBJECT: City Council Meeting — September 13, 2001
ITEM: *14.F.1. Consider an ordinance designating the intersection of St. Williams
Drive and Lime Rock Drive as an all -way stop intersection. (Second
Reading) Staff received numerous citizen requests for help with this
intersection. After an engineering evaluation of the intersection, it was
determined that it is posing a sight distance hazard. The first reading of
the ordinance was approved on August 23, 2001.

distance hazard. It is recommended that an all -way stop be installed at this
intersection.
