ORDINANCE NO. 17 0107/10_
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF MESA PARK DRIVE AND
OLD SETTLERS BOULEVARD AS A STOP INTERSECTION;
PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS:
I.
That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995
Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described
intersection is hereby designated as a stop intersection with a
stop sign to be erected as follows:
ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
Mesa Park Drive Old Settlers Boulevard
II.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.
C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which
this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which

this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed,
considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and
the Act.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

ITEM: *10.C.2. Consider an ordinance authorizing the placement of a stop sign
on Mesa Park Drive at Old Settlers Boulevard. (Second
Reading) The first reading of the ordinance was approved on June
28, 2001.

History: A new subdivision has been completed and accepted by the City. This ordinance
will authorize the stop sign located on the segment of street recently accepted by
the City. There have been no changes since the first reading of the ordinance.

Source of funds: Operating Signs and Markers
Outside Resources: N/A
Impact: Traffic control devices provided by developers as required by City Ordinances.
Benefit: Improved safety for residents.
