G-01-05-10-12B2 - 5/10/2001ORDINANCE NO. 6.-_ O/ " O5- I p-- /?i3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY DESIGNATING THE FOLLOWING INTERSECTIONS AS STOP INTERSECTIONS: DYLAN GARRETT COVE AT BECCA TEAL PLACE, CHRISTINE ROSE COURT AT BECCA TEAL PLACE, HENLEY DRIVE AT BECCA TEAL PLACE (EASTERN INTERSECTION), HENLEY DRIVE AT BECCA TEAL PLACE (WESTERN INTERSECTION), MICHELLE LYNNE COVE AT BECCA TEAL PLACE; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described intersections are hereby designated as stop intersections with stop signs to be erected as follows: ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH Dylan Garrett Cove Becca Teal Place Christine Rose Court Becca Teal Place Henley Drive Becca Teal Place (Eastern Intersection) Henley Drive Becca Teal Place (Western Intersection) Michelle Lynne Cove Becca Teal Place II. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and the Act. According to documentation submitted by your engineer, the improvements were performed at a cost of $946,250.40. These improvements have been completed as certified by your engineer, and we are in receipt of your affidavit stating that the work has been completed and requesting the improvements be accepted by the City of Round Rock. This letter shall constitute the formal acceptance of the subdivision water, wastewater, street and drainage improvements for maintenance by the City of Round Rock. Consider an ordinance authorizing the placement of stop signs in the Wood Glen Section 6 Subdivisions at various street intersections. (Second Reading) The stop signs will be placed at the following intersections: Dylan Garrett Cove at Becca Teal Place, Christine Rose Court at Becca Teal Place, Henley Drive at Becca Teal Place (Eastern Intersection), Henley Drive at Becca Teal Place (Western Intersection), Michelle Lynne Cove at Becca Teal Place. The first reading of the ordinance was approved on April 26, 2001. This ordinance will authorize the stop signs located on the segments of streets recently accepted by the City.
