HOLDER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 297, THE JOSEPH MARSHALL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 409, AND THE SAM L. JENKINS SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 347, WILLIAMSON COUNTY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. On the 16th day of November, 1999, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. in the Robert G. and Helen Griffith Public Library, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of 317.57 acres of land, more or less, out of the P.A. Holder Survey, Abstract No. 297, the Joseph Marshall Survey, Abstract No. 409, and the Sam L. Jenkins Survey, Abstract No. 347, Williamson County,("the Property,") more particularly described in Exhibit "A". On the 23rd day of November, 1999, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council will hold a second public hearing giving all interested persons the K:\WPDOCS\ORDINANC\091028B2.WPD/scg right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Round Rock, Texas, of the Property. II. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of said public hearings in the official newspaper in accordance with §43.052, Local Government Code. III. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and the Act. 2 Alternative 1.
