ATTEST: MML E LAND, City Secretary 2 CHARLES CUL'PLPPER, Mayor City of Round Rock, Texas DATE: May 19, 1997 SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, May 22, 1997 ITEM: 10F. Consider an ordinance waiving fiscal requirements for plat recordation for a future Round Rock Independent School District Middle School on Rusk Road STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Section 8.601 of the Round Rock Code of Ordinances requires subdividers to post fiscal for public improvements or complete the improvements prior to filing the plat for recordation. This is done as a protection to the City and future purchasers that the improvements will be completed. RRISD Is requesting that this requirement be waived for the Middle School site on Rusk Road. Staff has no objections to this request since the RRISD is a public agency with bond funds in place. Staff recommends approval of the waiver.
