G-99-05-27-10A1 - 5/27/1999ORDINANCE NO. - qg ' O " ?-i?/ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF GREENLAWN BOULEVARD AND STRATFORD DRIVE AS AN ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described intersection is hereby designated as a stop intersection with stop signs to be erected as follows: ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH Greenlawn Boulevard Stratford Drive (both directions) Stratford Drive (both directions) Greenlawn Boulevard II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. Consider an ordinance designating the intersection of Greenlawn Boulevard and Stratford Drive as an All -Way Stop intersection. (Second Reading) Staff has received a request from residents for this intersection to be changed to an All -Way Stop condition. Traffic counts and studies were conducted at the intersection, and based upon results of the evaluation, staff recommends that the intersection be designated for All -Way Stop control.
