AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE BY
DESIGNATING THE INTERSECTION OF OAKLANDS DRIVE AND
FALCON DRIVE AS AN ALL -WAY STOP INTERSECTION;
PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS:
I.
That pursuant to Section 9.800, Code of Ordinances (1995
Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, the below described
intersection is hereby designated as a stop intersection with stop
signs to be erected as follows:
ON AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
Oaklands Drive
(both directions)
Falcon Drive
(both directions)
Falcon Drive
Oaklands Drive
H.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.
C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which
this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which

this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed,
considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and

SUBJECT: City Council Meeting — November 24, 1998
ITEM: 13.C.2. Consider an ordinance designating the intersection of Oaklands Drive
and Falcon Drive as an All-Way Stop intersection. (Second Reading)
Staff received a request from a citizen for the intersection of Oaklands
Drive and Falcon Drive to be designated and signed as an All-Way Stop
intersection. Staff has completed an evaluation of the intersection and
agrees that it should become an All-Way Stop intersection. Staff
recommends approval of this ordinance. The first reading of the
ordinance was approved on November 12, 1998. Staff Resource Person:
