G-98-11-24-13B1 - 11/24/1998ORDINANCE NO. 4 - Q2- / 1 - 436 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, SECTION 1.1703, CODE OF ORDINANCES (1995 EDITION), CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, BY INCREASING THE SPORTS FACILITY LIGHTING FEES; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That Chapter 1, Section 1.1703(1)(c), Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended as follows: 1.1703 PARK FACILITIES, POOLS, AND EQUIPMENT RENTAL (1) Park Facilities. Resident and non-resident individuals, clubs, organizations, or businesses may rent parks and recreation facilities, when available, for a fee per function as follows: RESIDENTS NON-RESIDENTS (c) Sports Facility Lights $ 18.00 per hour $ 18.00 per hour II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. Consider an ordinance increasing the sports field lighting fees. (Second Reading) TU Electric conducted an audit for the City's sportsfield lighting systems. Based on information TU Electric provided, staff recommends that the City increase its charge from $12.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.
