AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR TWO PUBLIC
HEARINGS TO BE HELD IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON
THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE
CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, TO WIT: 101.26 ACRES OF LAND
OUT OF THE J.M. HARRELL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 284,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY SECRETARY TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC
HEARINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
I.
On the 21st day of December, 1998, at 6:00 o'clock P.M. in the
City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council
will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons the right
to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of
Round Rock, Texas, of 101.26 acres of land out of the J.M. Harrell
Survey, Abstract No. 284 in Williamson County, ("the Property,")
more particularly described in Exhibit "A".
On the 22nd day of December, 1998, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the
City Council Chambers, City of Round Rock, Texas, the City Council
will hold a second public hearing giving all interested persons the
right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City
of Round Rock, Texas, of the Property.
II.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to
publish notice of said public hearings in the official newspaper in
accordance with §43.052, Local Government Code.

III.
A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in
conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this
ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.
C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which
this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was
open to the public as required by law at all times during which
this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed,
considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and
the Act.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

NO. 284 OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING THAT CAI 1 FD 101.28 ACRE TRACT OF
LAND AS DESCRIBED IN THAT DEED TO CELIA NEUMAN AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 540, PAGE
443, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS. SAID 101.26 ACRE TRACT OF
LAND BEING FURTHER DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a %-inch iron rod found on the north right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road 1325 (F.M.
1325) a 120 foot wide right-of-way, being the southwest comer of the said 101.28 acre tract same being
the southeast comer of a 0.94 Acre tract as recorded in Volume 1623, Page 600 of the Deed Records
of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE, with the said west line of the 101.28 acre tract, the east line of the said 0.94 acre tract and the
east line of the abandoned Old County Road 172, the following three (3) courses:
1. N 170 06' 34" W, a distance of 1,564.72 feet to a A -inch iron rod found,
2. N 110 56' 37" W, a distance of 333.35 feet to a Winch iron rod found, from which a Winch iron
rod found bears N 72° 33' 04" E, a distance of 4.58 feet, and
3. N 17° 51' 34" W, a distance of 1,806.45 feet to a 1/2 -inch iron rod found on the south line of a 3.43
acre tract as recorded In Volume 1290, Page 696 of the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas, being the north Ilne of the said 101.28 acre tract;
THENCE, with the said common line, N 45° 31' 26" E, a distance of 384.19 feet to a 34 -inch iron rod found
on the east line of the said 3.43 acre tract;
THENCE, with the said east line of the 3.43 acre tract, and being the north line of the said 101.28 acre
tract, N 07" 34' 56" E, a distance of 326.65 feet to a 1/2 -Inch iron rod found on the south line of a tract of
land as recorded in Volume 935, Page 65 of the Deed Records of Williamson, Texas, and still being the
north line of the said 101.28 acre tract;
THENCE, with the said north line of the 101.28 acre tract, N 71° 12' 47" E, passing at a distance of
366.83 feet a !-inch iron rod found being the southeast comer of a 3.47 acre tract as recorded In Volume
1071, Page 545 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being the southwest comer of
George Blessing's Mobile Home Park, a subdivision, as recorded in Cabinet B, Slide 208 of the Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas, in all a total distance of 666.01 feet to a i4 -Inch iron rod found on
the east Zine of the said 101.28 acre tract being the west line of a 146.81 acre tract as recorded in Volume
614, Page 244 of the Deed Records of Williamson County Texas;
THENCE, with the said common line, S 18° 39' 23" E, a distance of 3,496.41 feet to a fence post on the
said north right-of-way of F.M. 1325;
THENCE, with the said north right-of-way line of F.M. 1325, S 43° 30' 00" W, a distance of 1,427.92 feet
