G-98-06-11-12A8 - 6/11/1998ORDINANCE NO. 6- 9r -010 -Ii- Aa A 8 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PARTIAL EXEMPTION FROM AD VALOREM TAXES FOR CERTAIN QUALIFIED HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: I. That the owners of the following real properties, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, have complied with Chapter 11, Section 11.419, Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas. II. That the real properties described in Exhibit "A" be granted an exemption of seventy-five percent (750) of the assessed value of the structure and land for the year 1998, pursuant to the provisions of said Section 11.419. III. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted and that such meeting was K:\WPDOCS\ORDINANC\080611A8.WPD/scg open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended, and the Act.
