ANNE LAND, City Secretary 2 CHARLES CUL'pEER, Mayor City of Round Rock, Texas DATE: November 3, 1997 SUBJECT: City Council Meeting, November 13, 1997 ITEM: 9C. Consider an ordinance designating the intersection of Deepwood Drive at Oakridge Drive as a stop intersection with stop signs placed on both streets. (Second Reading) STAFF RESOURCE PERSON: Jim Nuse STAFF RECOMMENDATION: We have recently conducted traffic counts at the intersection of Deepwood Drive with Oakridge Drive. Because of the delays being experienced at this intersection by motorists on Oakridge Drive and the sight distance restrictions to the north on Deepwood Drive, we are recommending that Stop signs be installed on Deepwood Drive at this intersection. This will create an All -Way Stop condition at this intersection. We are requesting that an ordinance be prepared for the City Council to approve the installation of Stop signs on Deepwood Drive at the intersection with Oakridge Drive. Staff recommends Council approval of this ordinance.
